Here’s the key information you need regarding the 25/26 cricket season at Glen Iris CC.
PlayHQ
PlayHQ is the website used by Cricket Australia and the ECA to manage all registrations for players, volunteers etc.
Some reminders:
• ALL Registrations will be done through PlayHQ.
• A fee of $36.50 for seniors and $17.45 for juniors will apply to all registrations and is in addition to club registration fees. This fee covers insurance and platform administration and is charged by Cricket Australia.
• Scoring will be done through the PlayHQ system via electronic devices. The ECA has asked clubs to eScore all games from this season.
Registrations
All players are responsible for registering themselves.
All players:
• must have their CricketID number (see guide linked below on how to obtain your CricketID number – note this is NOT the same as your old MyCricket ID) to be able to register.
• must register before their first game.
The registration process is pretty simple but if there is any confusion, this video will assist:
Club registration fees and links
In light of cost of living pressures, the committee has determined that the subscription fees will remain the same as last season.
Note that, like last season, the club subscription fees are all-encompassing and there is no incremental, additional match-day payments.
Fees for 2025/26 are as follows:
Now that the season has reached the half-way mark, please use a part-payment voucher code to ensure you’re only charged for half the season.
Program
Full fee
Part Payments (before First Game/First Week of January)
Part payments are available for all levels. Two payments are required, the first before the first game of the season and the second in the first week of January.
See here for Frequently Asked Questions. Players will need to be registered on PlayHQ before Round 1 to be selected. If, for any reason, you are unable to pay the registration fee prior to the commencement of the season, please contact the Secretary.
We strongly encourage you to register as soon as you can so we are not doing last-minute registrations and we can go into round 1 well prepared.
Individual Participation Grants
The Boroondara City Council runs a program for residents to assist with payment of subscription fees. If you:
a. Live within Boroondara; and
b. have a current, means-tested concession card
Then you can apply for a grant that will cover up to $200 of the subscription fee.
Refund Policy
We are able to process refunds for people who wish to cancel their registrations. However, as PlayHQ has no functionality to handle this, unfortunately, refunds are limited to the funds received by the club.
Therefore, the Cricket Australia fee + 3% of the registration fee (representing the PlayHQ transaction fees) paid will be subtracted from any refund provided.
