Here’s all the information you need regarding the 24/25 cricket season.
The committee has been meeting regularly during the off-season to ensure all is in readiness for the start of the season.
PlayHQ
This is the second season of PlayHQ being the portal for managing registrations since the retirement of MyCricket.
Some reminders:
• ALL Registrations will be done through PlayHQ.
• A fee of $22.50 will apply to all registrations and is in addition to club registration fees. This fee covers insurance and platform administration and is charged by Cricket Australia.
• Scoring will be done through the PlayHQ system via electronic devices. The ECA has asked clubs to eScore all games from this season.
Registrations
In the past the club was able to register players however now all players are responsible for registering themselves.
All players:
• must have their CricketID number (see guide linked below on how to obtain your CricketID number – note this is NOT the same as your MyCricket ID) to be able to register.
• must register before their first game
• The registration process is very simple but this video will also assist:
Club registration fees
Club registration fees were recently reviewed by the committee for the coming season and a significant change in approach has been adopted for the coming season in that we will no longer be collecting match payments. Players will pay a subscription fee that will cover the entire season with no additional payments.
Fees for 2024/25 will be as follows:
Early bird
(before round 1)
Part Payments (before First Game/First Week of January)
Senior Men
$495
$250/245
Senior Mens Concession
$395
$125/125
Veterans Men
$250
$200/195
Senior Women
Nil
not applicable
As noted part payments are available for all levels. Two payments are required, the first before the first game of the season and the second in the first week of January. Early-bird discounts are also available, but are not applicable for those using part-payments.
Players will need to be registered on PlayHQ before Round 1 to be selected. If, for any reason, you are unable to pay the registration fee prior to the commencement of the season, please contact Jim Parry (President), or Bill Heath (Secretary). (Details available on the Contacts page)
We strongly encourage you to take up the early bird offer and register as soon as you can so we are not doing last-minute registrations and we can go into round 1 well prepared.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Club Secretary, Bill Heath if you have any difficulties or questions.
