Senior Coach Appointment

The Glen Iris Cricket Club is thrilled to announce Kieren Jamieson has joined us this year as Senior Coach.

Kieren’s face will not be unfamiliar to a lot of players at GICC, given his local osteo work with Equilibrium and occasional appearances at GICC training last season, but he’s now joining Glen Iris in an official capacity.

Kieren has joined us after 7 seasons and 81 games of Premier Cricket Camberwell Magpies, predominantly in the 1st and 2nds, where he has taken 105 wickets with best bowling of 5/74. Prior to that, Kieren played Premier 1st XI and 2nd XI cricket for a season with Geelong Cricket Club, after making his way there from country cricket in the Wangaratta & District Cricket Association through a “Diamonds in the Bush” training camp run by current Australian coach, Andrew McDonald.

Kieren promises to bring a wealth of high level cricket experience to our coaching ranks as well as strengthening our Dunstan Shield bowling stocks immeasurably.

All of us at the Glen Iris Cricket Club would like to welcome Kieren to the club and wish him all the success for the coming season!

Senior coach, Kieren
