Senior Captaincy Applications

Written by: Scott Rojko

GICC players are invited to express their interest in captaining a senior side for the 2021 / 2022 season.

The leadership appointments of Lucas Skelton (Coach), Nathan Boucher (Assistant Coach), Paul Stocks (Batting Coach) and Tom McDermott as Dunstan Shield First XI Captain comes at an exciting time for the club.

The club is looking to support the leadership team in their endeavours by appointing Captains for the rest of the grades that look to meet the qualities the club has successfully developed under Skelts.

The club has registered the following sides for Saturday cricket, Sunday and Veterans appointments will be appointed separately.

1st – Dunstan Shield / Tom McDermott Captain

2nd – D Turf

3rd – C Synthetic

4th – E Synthetic

5th – LOC 2 in partnership with South Camberwell CC

6th – LOC 4 in partnership with South Camberwell CC

We welcome applications from GICC players for LOC sides.  We will have separate discussions with South Camberwell on the appropriate appointments for joint LOC sides.

Any player interested in captaining a side in the upcoming season should complete the Captaincy Application form and submit to [email protected] by October 17, 2021.

Any questions regarding the process can be directed to President Scott Rojko (0404 491 309).
